Lori Lewis

Lori graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston, and got her M.A. in Teaching English at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She taught English and American Sign Language for 35 years in RSD9, the University of Maine at Farmington, and in several areas of the U.S. and in Micronesia. She has also been an ASL teacher and interpreter, and is now retired. She and her husband Craig raised their son and daughter on the lake in Wilton, and they have four young grandchildren. She was not “born Maine” but “born to BE in Maine.”
