Kate earned a B.A. in Neuroscience and Music History/Theory from Oberlin College, an M.S.Ed. in Secondary Science Education from Northwestern University, and an Ed.D. in Learning Organizations from Wright State University. Prior to joining the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance as a STEM Education Specialist, Kate taught education courses at Thomas College and Wright State University and life science courses at a STEM high school in Ohio. She is passionate about helping learners of all ages develop a deep love and appreciation for science. Kate lives in Wilton with her husband, Ryan, and their son, Ben.
